Book a room or a recording session online. Pay ahead and get a door code for your time slot.

Plug in

The backline is set up and waiting. Drums, amps, PA and mics are ready, or roll in your own rig through the ground-level loading door.

Step 3

Get loud

Treated, isolated rooms with no neighbors to complain. Play as hard as the songs need.

Every hour you hold is an hour another band can't play. Here's how cancelling works. You agree to this policy each time you book.

Monthly lockouts

  • If the studio cancels, you get a 100% refund. If we ever have to cancel or decline your booking, for any reason and at any time, you're refunded in full.
  • One free late cancellation every 6 months. Life happens. Your first late cancellation in any 6-month period has no fee.
  • Requests are free to withdraw. Until the studio approves a booking, you can cancel it at no charge.
  • Military orders and emergencies. Got short-notice orders or a real emergency? Contact the studio and we'll waive the fee.
  • Rescheduling is free before the cutoff. After the cutoff, it counts as a late cancellation.
  • Running late? Sessions end on time so the next band can start.
  • Fees are due at your next visit. Accounts with repeated no-shows may need to prepay or lose online booking.

Static Line Studios was founded by Steve Hubbard, a local musician who has played in hard rock and metal bands for more than 30 years and recorded those bands for just as long. He knows what a band needs from a practice room because he has rehearsed in every bad one.

The name comes from his time as an Army paratrooper. A static line is the cord that opens your chute when you jump. Here it's the line that carries your signal from the guitar to the tape.

Fifteen years in IT means the booking, door access, networks and session backups are handled by someone who has built systems like them before.

Standing in the door

Static Line Studios is in the build-up phase. The doors open in the Fayetteville area in mid-2028. The street address and contact details will be posted here before launch.
